3D Printing

Purpose: Various processes, equipment, and materials produce a three-dimensional object via additive manufacturing. 3D printing is also known as additive manufacturing. Therefore, the numerous available 3D printing processes are additive, with a few key differences in the technologies and the materials used.

Purpose: HPS-wide Competition - Presented in partnership with FTW Robotics and Rice University, HPS Drone Race is the perfect event offering elementary, middle school and high school students an opportunity to get hands-on experience in STEM education in the form of an affordable, fast-paced game. Purpose: Most countries have regional science fairs where interested students can freely participate. Winners of these regional fairs send students to national fairs such as ISEF[5] and CWSF. National science fairs typically send winners to international fairs such as ISEF (national and global) and EUCYS.
VEX Robotics

Purpose: VEX Robotics is a robotics program for elementary through university students, and a subset of Innovation First International. The Robotics Education and Competition Foundation (REC) manages the VEX Robotics competitions and programs.[1] In April 2018, the VEX Robotics Competition was named the largest robotics competition in the world by Guinness World Records
Spelling Bee

Purpose: A spelling bee is a competition in which contestants are asked to spell a broad selection of words, usually with varying difficulty. To compete, contestants must memorize the spellings of words written in dictionaries and recite them accordingly.

Purpose: The Science Olympiad is an American team competition in which students compete in 23 events related to various scientific disciplines, including earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Over 7,800 middle and high school teams from 50 U.S. states compete yearly.[1][2][3] U.S. territories do not compete; however, since 2012, high school teams from Japan have competed at the national tournament as unranked guests.

Purpose: HOSA offers 58 competitive events, ranging from skill-based to leadership and team-based. The event groups are as follows: Health science, health professions, leadership, and recognition events. Members compete at the regional, state, and international levels. Those in the top three positions at the state level are allowed to compete at the global level.

Purpose: The SLS Club allows students to engage with the community and its leaders and become more politically aware and astute. Its mission is dedicated to encouraging civic engagement among our students and exposing them to leadership opportunities in their community. Purpose: The purpose of a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) is to perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks in healthcare settings. CCMAs work in clinics, medical offices, and other healthcare facilities. The club must be an extension of an approved Programs of studies by the district such as criminal justice if law enforcement is a POS at the campus.
