Harmony Science & Engineering Fair 2026

The 11th Annual Harmony Science and Engineering Fair (H-SEF) will take place Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Houston, bringing together the brightest middle and high school students from across the Harmony Public Schools network to showcase advanced research projects. Registration opens soon with a Mar. 4 deadline, and space is limited as projects must pass an online pre-elimination process that maintains the fair's rigorous standards. H-SEF represents more than competition - it's a launching pad for future innovators that has previously sent winners to prestigious international competitions, including a first-place finish at Mostratec 2021.

Character.org is pleased to announce that Harmony School of Innovation-El Paso Middle/High has been named a 2025 National School of Character!

 

National certification is the highest level of distinction bestowed by Character.org. Schools receiving this designation have demonstrated excellence in establishing a school culture that exemplifies and brings to life the 11 Principles Framework for Schools: A Guide to Cultivating a Culture of Character.

This recognition is a testament to our commitment to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in our PLTW programs, including Computer Science, Biomedical Science, and Engineering. Harmony School of Innovation-El Paso Named 2025 State School of Character

We are proud to announce that Harmony School of Innovation-El Paso Middle/High has been officially recognized as a 2025 State School of Character by Character.org. This prestigious designation is awarded to schools that excel in creating a positive and caring culture where character development is a central focus.

Out of 218 schools and districts evaluated this year, HSI-El Paso stood out for our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where students practice and reflect on key character strengths, guided by our core values: Adaptability, Loyalty, Perseverance, Honor, and Accountability.

"This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our entire school community," said Principal CIPLAK. "Our teachers, staff, students, and parents have all contributed to building an environment where character education thrives."

The State School of Character designation is valid for five years, during which our campus will have the opportunity to apply for the prestigious National School of Character designation—the highest honor bestowed by Character.org.
